Most times when you jump on social media for the day, there are tons of posts about a plethora of things. Some of the things that are posted are toxic, some are about social injustices, there are a bunch of travel photos and some posts with people just trying to get attention. And we can’t forget about the political circus that is going on right now. If we get caught sleeping, the whole world will soon be Trumped. Then there’s #blacklivesmatter, #alllivesmatter, LGBT equality and that whole police militarization thing.
There are also times on social media where you come across something or someone that allows you to escape the onslaught of world issues and allows you to just live in a moment of peace, tranquility and possibly even, adoration… Those are the little moments, when you get to smile a real smile that makes the rest of the mess in the digital world tolerable. I just happened to be listening to some old school music when someone like that crossed my timeline.
